Please join us for a two-part research workshop led by experimental composer/artist/performer Guillermo Galindo. The workshop will begin with a seminar-like discussion followed by a sound workshop using CAVIAR (Cave of Augmented Virtual and Interactive Realities), a virtual acoustic system developed by the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA). Galindo will return to the CCRMA Stage on 05/27/2024 at 7:30pm for a live performance with special guest percussionist William Winant. Galindo is currently showcasing around fifty artworks and objects that span over three decades as a part of his solo exhibition, "Todos nuestros átomos dan cuerpo a miles de vidas antes que la nuestra," at Ex Teresa Arte Actual in Mexico City. The exhibition has been curated by Carlos Prieto and is set to conclude on July 21, 2024.
