The SHC Arcade editor is the sole representative of the humanities at the April 17 event, which is open to the entire Stanford community.

Stanford Humanities Center Digital Public Fellow and English PhD candidate Lydia Burleson is one of ten graduate students selected for Stanford's first-ever 3 Minute Thesis Competition. An editor for the SHC's digital humanities salon Arcade, she will give a talk titled "Two Sides of American Utopia."

The event will take place on Thursday, April 17 from 4–6:00 p.m. at the Hauck Auditorium of the David and Joan Traitel Building. The competition will be emceed by President Jon Levin and is open to entire Stanford community to support the contestants.
A reception and award ceremony will follow.
