Submit a Colloquy
Arcade welcomes Colloquy proposals on a rolling basis throughout the academic year. Before submitting a Colloquy proposal, please take your time exploring existing Colloquies to get a sense of our typical style and range of topics and materials.
A Colloquy proposal consists of a draft of the Colloquy introduction (500-1000 words), written in the style of the feature, which means accessible and not too academic, with no footnotes; a non-exhaustive list of possible items to include in the Colloquy, with publication info (dates, presses) so that we can anticipate any issues in securing those items; and a full list of the name(s) of up to two Colloquy curator(s) (although more than two faculty and/or graduate students may be unofficial curators, we find that having a maximum of two official curators makes the process run more smoothly). Please submit this proposal to our Lead Colloquies Editor, Ana Núñez (ananunez@stanford.edu), who will then forward the proposal to our Editorial Board.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Lead Colloquies Editor Ana Núñez or Arcade Director Rachel Karas (rkaras@stanford.edu) with any questions.
