During this graduate student-only luncheon, Stanford alumnus Lutz Koepnick will lead a discussion regarding questions of ambient attention, specifically how sound art, cinema, and visual art reckon ever more with viewers or listeners not entirely focused on a work and its durations, and the implications such developments have for reading.
